Chevron Brasil received the international Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign of the Year award for our social humanization project at the Jesus Municipal Hospital, in the North zone of Rio de Janeiro, which specialized in the pediatric care and reference in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer. The award has been given by the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) in recognition of the sector’s companies for their performances in the energy industry.
 

Business Development and Corporate Affairs Manager, Patricia Pradal represented the company at the award ceremony, which was held during the International Energy Summit, organized by the institution in Miami, the week of May 29 - “We are so proud and happy to receive this award, recognizing the renovation and transformation work of the hospital’s radiology sector coordinated by Charles Guerra, and an example of our commitment with health and well-being in the communities where we operate”, says Patricia.
 

Sponsored by Chevron Brasil and developed in partnership with Desiderata Institute and the Health Department of Rio de Janeiro city, the project included the total renovation of the radiology sector with the participation of the artist and scenographer Gringo Cardia in transforming environments that reproduce the seabed and spaces. The objective was to minimize the impacts of the hospital climate, contributing to a less traumatic, more welcoming, and humanized experience.
